	WHAT IS TRAUMA IN THE TROPICS Trauma in the Tropics is an annual cruise and continuing education conference for emergency medical technicians, paramedics, nurses, physicians and other health care professionals. Family and Friends are welcome. Conference participation is optional. Our goal is to provide high-quality continuing education to help you maintain the knowledge and proficiency required in your profession. We do it all in a tropical paradise so that you can combine work and some much-needed relaxation. Trauma in the Tropics began in 1995 as a Caribbean cruise, and has been held annually since.
